This policy explains what personal information FinDog collects, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: your email address; if you sign in with Google, also basic profile information provided by Google, such as your name and profile picture.
Usage data: the positions you enter (ticker, quantity, cost, and purchase date), and the sign-in IP address and browser information we record for security purposes.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your card number; we keep only the customer and subscription identifiers generated by Stripe and your subscription status.
2. How We Use Information
To provide features such as sign-in, member access, and the portfolio backtest; to send sign-in codes and transactional emails related to your account or subscription; to prevent abuse and keep the Service secure; and to improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to the Service.
3. Cookies
We use only the session cookies necessary to keep you signed in, and the cookies Cloudflare Turnstile uses for human verification. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Third-Party Services
The Service is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2, and others); sign-in code emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service; payments are processed by Stripe; and Google sign-in is provided by Google. These providers handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Earnings Analysis is generated by large language model services. The input consists of public financial reports and does not include your personal information.
5. Data Retention and Security
Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize the related personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We protect data with measures such as encryption in transit and access controls, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
You may at any time view and correct your account information, export or delete your portfolio data, or request deletion of your entire account. Please contact us at the email address below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Minors
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will delete it as soon as possible.
8. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated. When it is, we will revise the date at the top of the page and, where necessary, notify you through the website or by email.
